This is the first time anna university has introduced de " Pre - Examination
Monitoring System " ...... according 2 dis system ---

" There are about 550 Engineering Colleges affiliated to the ‘Anna University,
Chennai’ are functioning throughout Tamil Nadu offering various Engineering
Degree (both UG and PG) Courses to about 6 Lakhs Students. Through this web
application all these Institutions upload the essential details like basic details,
photograph, signature etc. of each and every student. Also following ‘Pre-
Examination activities’ are being carried out by these Institutions :
•Registering the Students for the semester examinations •Capturing the
periodical Course attendance details •Capturing the periodical Internal
Assessment marks •Generating the Examination Hall Tickets for the eligible
students •Capturing the Examination Absentees Details All these data
updating activities can be monitored by the Controller of Examinations from his
Office, by generating various types of MIS reports and exceptional reports. Each
Institution updates the details of their Students using their login ID, generates
the desired reports and sends the select reports only with Principal’s signature
to the Controller for filing purposes. Implementation Status of Phase I : This
web application was put into use in November 2012. Till now, Students Profiles
of about 1.6 Lakhs UG Students and 2000 PG Students have been uploaded by
the Institutions. Hall Tickets (as PDF Documents ) for about 1.5 Lakhs UG
Students were generated and downloaded by the Institutions. Internal
Assessment Marks and Examination Absentees details of about 4.5 Lakhs UG
Students have been captured, which will be used by the CoE for examination
results processing."
